BiographyÂ
Raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, a deep-rooted passion for our planet's diverse ecosystems was instilled in me from a young age. This passion for the outdoors inspired me to study at Prescott College, where I dove headfirst into the complexities of environmental science, specifically focusing on the nuanced impacts of climatic change in the Southwestern United States. My studies focused on both understanding such impacts and finding ways to engage communities in conservation and sustainable practices. From climate models to investigating present-day changes in river morphology, my academic journey has focused on blending theoretical knowledge with actionable tasks.

My passion for the environment isn't confined to the classroom or landscapes of the Southwest. I've spent many months and years guiding and educating people about the beauty and significance of our natural world. Through my varied roles—from leading wilderness trips to teaching in an outdoor classroom—I've aimed to inspire a sense of stewardship for the Earth. Each experience has been a step towards my goal: to make a tangible difference in how we interact with and protect our planet.
